    Beginning with disaster risk reduction and preparedness, CARE helps communities cope with crisis every step of the way. With a range of partners covering 9 districts across Sri Lanka, we have reason to be confident in our capacity to provide emergency relief and to support post-crisis recovery. Our tried and tested management and logistics infrastructure include experienced programme and support staff, as well as financial managementand accountability systems, with processes in place to allow us to respond to any emergency within thosecriticalfirstfew days.
